What is NLP?
Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a unique methodology, an art and a science. Performance experts describe it as the ultimate performance psychology. Its been used since time began by all successful people, whether they’ve known it or not, but was discovered in its current form in 1970. It teaches a way to achieve everything you want from life, more effortlessly and easily. Whatever you want from life, the answer lies within what you need to change about what you’re currently doing in order to get it. It ends with an ability to affect and influence others around you in a positive way.
NLP is used in businesses all around the world, to accelerate performance; in therapy or coaching to create rapid transformations and used by individuals to achieve their personal goals and create the lives they want to lead.
In brief, it’s a way of taking control of your brain, your behaviour and your results, ensuring you what you prefer to get out of life.
It’s as simple and as complicated as that!
NLP Practitioner Training
If you are interested in learning NLP coaching techniques and become a certified Practitioner of NLP with Author and Performance Expert Jessica Robbins, we offer flexible and affordable options for both Practitioner and Master Practitioner level trainings.
You must complete the NLP Practitioner Course first (7 days Fast-Track), and then you can progress to Master Practitioner level (15 days training).
The practitioner course is perfect for you if you're keen to learn how to transform yourself and your results as well as helping others to do the same.
How is NLP Coaching Different to Life or Business Coaching?
Coaching is the art of helping someone achieve what they want, using the resources they already posess.
NLP is similar to coaching, but NLP is Coaching PLUS the instruction manual for the mind PLUS an entire pyschological methodology PLUS a set of life-transforming interventions and techniques!
As an NLP Practitioner, you learn how to coach anyone towards their goals and so much more!
You will learn rapport building, goal achievement, communication skils, powerful questioning techniques, conversational hypnosis and a set of powerful and therapeutic interventions to move a client out of any stuck situation rapidly and effectively!
These interventions are not taught in traditional Coaching qualifications and so you might have to refer a client onto someone else, if an emotional issue came up in traditional coaching sesions.
However, as an NLP Practitioner you can work with anyone, on any subject such as business, sport, relationships etc without additional training, since NLP works on the mind, not on the subject matter. We dont give advice, we utilise resources already inside the client to make the transformation, so you dont need to be an expert in business to help a business person. Just help the person so that they can take care of business!
What's Covered on the Practitioner Course?
On the Practitioner Training, you will learn the NLP fundamental principles and techniques including:
- How to build rapport quickly and effectively - powerful influence
- How to develop incredible sensory acuity – reading people
- The presuppositions of NLP and the communication model – the principles of success
- The structure of thinking - using modalities and sub modalities
- The 'Swish' pattern - for quickly changing unwanted habits
- Influencing using the power of language - the 'meta model' and the 'Milton model'
- Anchoring - how to transform negative emotions and have resourceful states whenever you need them
- Time Line Techniques – changing behavioural patterns, beliefs and setting future goals.
- Parts Integration - resolving internal conflict
- Dealing with phobias in minutes
- Eliciting and utilizing strategies – Understanding how you do what you do

Certification:
To receive the ABNLP NLP Practitioner Certification, you must complete the 7 days classroom training covering the content listed above.
To receive the INLPTA diploma you must complete the first 4 days of NLP training with our certified INLPTA trainer Jess Robbins.
Provide you meet the standards expected, you will be qualified as an NLP Practitioner on the final day of your course.
You will then be entitled to use that title to advertise your services as a professional, immediately.
You will be invited to regular practice evenings with the Jessica Robbins NLP Practitioner Graduate Group and receive regular support and advice.

After you've successfully completed the NLP Practitioner Programme, you can progress to the Master Practitioner level Programme.
